Aer Lingus have an ad on the radio at the mo ...
Bargain fares to Dublin (Woo Hooo ... Paaaaaaartyyyyyy!!)
Then at the end of the ad, it says "Fares are one way only"
So what use was the fare information in the advert ... unless you're planning on walking home !!

Having booked the flight, you then get ...
"Are you checking in any luggage?"
... "As opposed to wearing the same pants all weekend? Yes!"
"Are you paying by debit card?"
... "Erm, yes ... unless I can send you a goat and some beads."
Etc, etc ...
All of a sudden, the price has doubled !

That's okay, red.
I'm all for threads being taken for a walk, and see where they end up.
If you did a Vegas/Poker countdown, we might pick up some tips ...
... (although maybe you don't need tips).
I'm always arguing over the more marginal Blackjack hands ...
... like where you are dealt a "soft" 19 or 20 (so A,8 or A,9) and the Dealers up card is a 10 or an A.

That's one argument, red.
The other side of the coin is ...
You have a fair statistical chance of losing to the Dealer.
You can't "bust" because one of your cards is the Ace.
Statistically (very marginally) you should Stand.
But also, statistically, the House always has an edge if you play a perfect game, and get the mathematical decision correct every single time.
So ... are these the hands where you try to upset the odds by not playing the statistical game ?
You only need to find a 5% swing in your favour to turn a game against the House. Are these the moments to do that?
