Quick question about trolls

before I go out again, AB has always had some sort of troll activity but for the long term users (2004- onwards) when did the first type of agressive abusive trolling start? I joined in 2006 and there was only arguments between known users and not trolls hiding behind alias', yes there were vile arguments but no klown style trolling.

when did this start? or has it always been there..?

Actually, no, Salla.
I don't believe legend ever had need to hide who he was. I don't believe that he was ever one of the 'trolls'.

Yes Jack i have to agree with you on that.Not exactly a redeeming quality but in Legends case perhaps his only one.As a matter of interest didnt i read that society at one time a different username too?Im sure i did.
Whiffey was the russian we all know that. But hes no longer with us sadly and the end result is we now have Man-On-The-Top-Of-The-Clapham-Omnibus and Klown and Noway who has perhaps 4 Ids here at the latest count. Oh and of course im using this Id so i dont get attacked by anyone who disapproves of me airing my opinion. The first real nasty was Lung cancer created by Gravitate who still posts here and seems to have endeared himself to some users by posting in Animals & Nature.Even having conversations with the Editor!!The similarities between Lung cancers posts and those of the Klown Chimp are striking. Though not striking enough for some. I too have names on a piece of paper in my desk drawer. They will stay there and be crossed off as they reveal themselves to all and sundry. In the meantime i must slip out of this Id and into my own.

Yes but looking at SAB recently its obvious some users harbour jealousy and carry their grudges for very long times . I must go and change anyway. Be careful to avoid the yellow snow.

Agree with cazz -been a member on here for years and any spats were almost always under the regular user name.Probably hence the reason that some for example remember *my* on line spats as I never ever have gone undercover resulting in certain people throwing in insults at any given oppo -water off the ducks back.
However I concur -Legend has never used anything bar a derivation of Legend and Man-On-The-Top-Of-The-Clapham-Omnibus always makes it plain that its him who is posting under a pseodonym.
Im glad that society was brought up as I also am sure that she said that she posted under another name previously and was also on Froggers -I was on that as well -who were you if you dont mind me asking as I probably knew you :)
Gravitate is behind 90% of the trolls on here and he must laugh up his sleeve that he continues to get away with it when others have been banned.Whatever flies his kite :)
