Have visited many sites with conflicting prices so would like to know if anyone knows the following please? What are the cheapest months to fly from Manchester,Uk to Melbourne? I also wish to arrive in Melbourne 1st thing in the morning but not leave until after 9pm.Seems this is only possible some months.Have seen cheap flights advertised ...under £600 but they stop twice,etc.Any view would be appreciated as I would like to plan in advance when I could visit friends with this criteria in mind.Thanks for any help.

hi, why dont you go and see a travel agent -they do all the hard work for you. TBH what you are asking is a lot of work and i doubt anyone has the motivation to do all the research for you

Hi, I am travelling from Manchester to NZ in Jun. I leave Manchester at 9pm and arrive in Melbourne before 10am as my flight leaves again at 10.10 - I am going with Emirates and have one stop over in Dubai - I think for only a couple of hours. Go to the emirates website for prices and correct times etc.

Oops - just checked my ticket - I leave Dubai at 10.10 but the flight must arrive in Melbourne early as I arrive in Auckland at 12.45 local time and its a 3.30 flight and then add 2 - 3 hr time difference. Hope that helps

It'll vary; new services are added or old ones changed or stopped. Prices vary according to how well they're selling. Broadly, it's cheaper to go down under in their winter, most expensive at Christmas. But you can only decide roughly when you want to go then check out who's cheapest around that time, and whose hours suit you best. Trailfinders are good at this sort of thing
