Have I got this right?
Father Brendan Smyth was a paedophile who raped children over a period of 18 years.
Cardinal Sean Brady, current Primate of Ireland, attended a meeting with 2 of the children whom Father Smyth raped.
The 2 children were forced to sign "vows of silence" or face excommunication (and, in their doctrine, eternal damnation)
His Holiness The Pope knew of this.
It has been suggested that Cardinal Brady should resign - (well, perverting the course of justice, and colluding in paedophile rape are not great on your CV !)
Instead, he has said that he will pray, to "Divine the will of the Holy Spirit" (funnily enough, the "Holy Spirit" will probably decide that he does not need to resign, LOL).
And these rapists, paedophiles, and criminal perverters of justice are ... our moral guardians ...
... and they tell us that it is an evil sin to wear a condom, or to make love without being married?
Am I missing something here?
But, as Mousey says ... the Pope has written a letter.
So ... that's alright then.
