IS ENRIQUE IGLESIAS a Spanish or a Latin singer ?

OK guys i don't know about Spanish or Latin . are they same lang . coz some time i find out Enrique is a Latin singer N sometime he is a Spanish singer . please clear this mess up 4 me !!!

Latin is what the ancient Romans spoke, but the word is sometimes used to describe Spanish people, or those living in countries in central and South America and the Caribbean, which were colonised by Spain. Technically you could also describe Italians, French and Portuguese as 'Latins' too as their languages also descended from the Latin language (ours is mostly descended from Germanic); but most people don't.
