Like mother, like daughter Boo. A chip off the old block !
BOO, if you think you look battered. When I had an impacted one taken out in hospital my whole chest was black and blue as well as my face. I think they must have knelt on me whilst yanking it out!!
Oh ouch Lottie- good job we're out cold eh?
I know a few folk who could do with having a wisdom tooth put in!!
I had my 2 bottom wisdoms removed at the dentist when I was 18 by intervenous injection (partially asleep). The teeth weren't through so they had to cut the gum.

In hindsight I would suggest going to the hospital.

Salla is right, if it is straightforward a Dentist will remove them.
i had one took out in my dentists a few years ago ....they broke it while removing it and then left the rest told me it would just dissolve in time :s never been back since no wonder they didn't refer me after that if they aren't supposed to do it in the first place ..thanks for bringing this to my attention ,i have an appointment in June for another one and been quite apprehensive about going hopefully this will get sorted now .
I had one of my top ones out under local. Had 3 injections though and it had come through. As it's been mentioned, top ones easier to take out.
As has been said, dentists can and do very often take out wisdom teeth, but not if a general anaesthetic is needed. They can take them out under local anaesthetic. If they foresee problems they will refer to a hospital dental surgeon.
