Handwashing was not on the agenda, we had salmon sandwiches every Sunday as Mr.Den got it knocked off from work. The place was so dirty and untidy Kim & Aggie would have been in their element.
Not really Jan - when my son was born, we had to do the 'visit' - she offered him a boiled sweet and then offered to warm his bottle up in the pan that was boiling on the stove with his Dad's socks in. I declined the offers of babysitting (:0(
She knitted me a bag of baby clothes for my son - one item was an orange jump suit - it was so big, I don't think it would fit him even now let alone for a newborn. Both legs faced left, so not wanting him to grow up with a deformity, I gave most of them away to the Oxfam shop - so some poor kid in Africa may now be walking with both feet facing left.
