I'm both excited yet very nervous at my first interview for a deputy headteacher position - has anyone any ideas on the types of questions I might get asked?

They'll likely wany you to show you are able to plan and organise your time efficiently and also that you are enthusiastic about your vocation and have ambition. Well when i interview people to work in retail i look for that sort of outlook , maybe it's different in the teaching profession,
Hi momatiti - hope all goes well for you. Education isn't my background, I'm afraid - if the job was a Forensic Auditor's now!!
I can only relate ( & hopefully encourage) by recalling one past appointment where, at interview & looking @ other folk, I convinced myself I was only there to make up the numbers. By the time I went in I'd told myself I'd no chance & so was completely relaxed and said some things I'd never have said if I thought I was a serious contender. When they offered my the post .....!!
Remember - your'e interviewing them to decide if you want to work there. If you can get that into the psyche, your half way there. Good luck!
