Thanks God It's Friday! TGIF - #FACT
36 Answers
It feels like I have only just finished writing last weeks Friday post.
I hope you are all well (those of you who are still hanging about that is).
I have got a big book called: "Top 10 of Everything 2010" full of lists. A reasonably banal book in itself except for a few choice pages.
For example:
The 10 Most Corrupt Countries:
1. Somalia
2. Iraq and Myanmar (joint)
4. Haiti
5. Afganistan
6. Chad, Guinea, Sudan (joint)
9. Democratic Republic of Congo, Equatorial New Guinea (joint)
I have no idea how they've measured "corruption" in this - guesses welcome.
Another #FACT (or two)
Did you know that more Books are translated into German than any other language? FACT!
Agatha Christie and Shakespeare are, apparently according to this book, tied for the "best-selling English-language authors" with around 4, 000, 000, 000.
More facts soon...

Well I haven't read any top ten books, nor been to any top ten corrupt countries, but boy am I glad it is Friday.
Top ten things to do this weekend:-
1. Get drunk (am halfway there - but still need to do the weekly shop - oops, so that's a shed load of chocolate and ice cream to feed us for the week).
2. Tax my car (have been driving the bfs very big long wheel base seven series - I haven';t told him about the minor car park brush I had. Oops but its VERY big).
3. Get drunk.
4. Do the housework (groans)
5 Find my V5, which will enable me to to tax the car.
6. Drive to Wales (going to see the bf's family)
7 Get drunk (before the drive to Wales - it will make it so much more bearable)
8. Visit my family
9 Get drunk (will make 8 so much more bearable)
10. Relax.....
Anyone seeing a common theme?
Just realised I am off for a whole week now. woo hoooooooooooooooooooo!

Regarding Elvis, there is a chapel in Wales called St Elvis; it's in the Presili hills. Seriously. His ded brother's second name, Garon, is also Welsh.
