Can anybody remember ......

From 1986 to 1988 Marti Caine presented "New Faces" - I am trying to find out the name of one of the contestants.

It was a young(ish) male and he was (I think) a overall winner - I am sure that it was the final that I was watching. I remember thinking that he had a really good and powerful voice.

I have tried Google and have not found out what I am looking for. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Thanks mccfluff - I tried working through that list this afternoon, but most of them are comedians.

I suppose that I could try another search engine - if that makes any difference!
