I hope the bug clears your system soon!
Sadly,we don't have any wedding pictures.
We were married in Germany in 1949 by the town Mayor,as Elsie was born Jewish(but had already decided not to be) and I wasn't the least bit religious.
Given that the war had only been over 4 years there were few (if any) wedding photographers, and even less (publicly available) film.
Elsie wouldn't have wanted to be photographed then,as she was still very thin from the concentration camp.
We DID have a sort of wedding reception/photos etc on our 50th,when our family paid for us(and about 30 close relations) to holiday on a resort on the Maldives!
If I can post these pics I will.

Hello there,
I can't find a Maldives pic,I think they are all on our Son's PC.
However, here is a pic of Elsie and I,at a 50th Wedding Anniversary Garden Party,
As only 30 family members could go to the Maldives with us,the other 60 or so had to be content with the Garden party! LOL

I can't really answer that piggynose,we just seem to have arrived here.
I do know we still make each other laugh (usually at the wrong things!0
We almost know what the other is thinking by now.
We never row,we may have tiffs, but one of us always apologises (usually me!)
When we have a disagreement she say she will go home to Mother, well that's not difficult,MIL's ashes are stiill in the dining room.
We are not morbid,we just haven't been able to scatter her (in Germany) where she wanted, yet! I could ask one of the kids to do it,but Elsie is adamant that she want's to be there.
I remember this saying that my dear and loved MIL told me,for husbands to learn:~
"Whenver you are wrong admit it,
and whenever you are right, shut up!"
It's got me a long way.
