Do I stay in The Uk or go back home?
7 Answers
I am a 39 year old single New Zealand male living in Devon.
Half of me wants to stay (addicted to travelling) half of me wants to go back.
If I went back I would be home but I would have to give up my travels (opprtunties &advantages)and I wake up wanting to stay
and then another day wanting to go back?
Any experienced sensible thoughts?

Do a bit more travelling - have you been other places ? I am sure you have. Give yourself a few more months, and I agree with everyone else - see the rest of the UK, there are some beautiful places out there. Go around the world before you go home. Its still in your system !
travel is a lot cheaper from the UK than from NZ (how long did it take you to save up to leave in the first place?). And there are a lot more places to see; three hours from Auckland and all you'll see is Australians and a few islanders. If you want to travel you're in the right place... well, you would be if you lived next to Heathrow rather than in Devon.
Short answer: why not go home for a month or two and see how much you want to stay? Bear in mind the weather is about to improve here (not this week but maybe next) while it's getting cooler down under, and this could influence your views.

Staying in Devon isn't really travelling! You travelled to get here, but then you've stayed which equals settling. Are you thinking about making Devon your permanent home? How long have you been there? Have you seen the rest of the UK? Europe?
Sounds like you don't have too many responsibilities or ties, so make the most of it and do some more travelling before you go back to NZ (if you do!) - but don't just stick to Devon - there's a lot more world to see than that (plus you may start picking up the accent! lol!) xxx
