If a vet is to prescribe for any animal, they must have seen that animal within the last six months, that is the law. If the vet feels that it is necessary to the well being of the animal, they may set a shorter review period and prescribe a lesser quantity accordingly, eg when starting on insulin therapy
have just googled seloxine...its a drug to treat hypothyroidism so I can see why regular /frequent check ups are needed especially at the beginning of use
