Tree fallen onto my land

I rent a field to graze my horses on. A tree has fallen down and damaged the fence. The people I rent the field from are saying that I have to pay to have the fence replaced.

1 Surley I only have to have the fence repaired, where it is damaged, and not replace the whole fence?
2 Should the land owner whose tree it is pay to have the fence repaired? (next door)

The owner of the field I rent says that she does not have "the people who own next door's address" It is just a strip of basically waste land. Can I find out this address any way?

Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks, I did'nt enter into a repairing agreement, but I did enter into a grazing agreement, but this does not mention fences, or fallent trees. It says I have to maintain the land, which I do.

Thanks Eddie, the land is owned, just left to waste. We live in Hampshire, and I've managed to find out that the land (tree owner) lives in the Midlands. I thought I only had to pay for the repair not the whole fence. The person I rent the field off is trying to keep my £400 deposit, I know it won't cost that much to repair, as its only a barbed wire fence. I think she may be doing this because I am moving out.
