When I first started using it I found that it's best not to look at the screen until you've finished typing the word. Or you just get confused.
Much better than my explanation VHG! are you there now looobyooo?

yes im here welsh :o)
have you worked it out?
O, I see, predictive texting works the same as when googling something and the instant the first letter is typed various suggestions pops up. It that it? That's what I've gathered from VHG explanation.
The trick is to ignore what comes up as you type until you get to the end of the word, Although you'd think the word "MUM" is used a lot, the word "NUN" always comes up first and then you have to change it to "MUM" Did the Pope design this do you think?

well, im getting there! lol
thanks to vhgs explanation, also sara3 in another thread last night, it made sense, so i gave it a try and yayyyyyy it worked!
ive not got it completely sussed yet though, still think i need a bit more practice, but from the little bit ive done, its certainly quicker just having to press the buttons once!
sooo, maybe itll be firework night that i finally get the hang and not christmas as first thought welsh lol.
yes society, as long as you press the right keys once each in the correct order, then you should come up with the word you wnat, maybe not the first time, but by pressing the * key you can change till you get the correct one, or if it doesn't have the word in the memory, then you need to spell it using normal text mode, then the phone will store it for future use.....................
thanks Welsh!
Haha Loooby, you're almost there then! great! You'll get used to it in no time!................speak soon....................
Thanks for that explanation. I've had several goes in the past and couldn't understand it.

I will have another crack at it. I feel much more confident now. {:o)
