Could someone please get rid of this man??? I do not want to spend my breakfast time being exhorted (loudly) to "Welcome to Planet Earth"!!!!! etc. I want to listen to gentle humour, clever witticisms etc. This man is loud, not funny and I have to turn him off. I hate the programme now and I wish they had chosen Alex Lester or any of the other nice people who occasionally took over from Terry.

I myself think Chris Evans is ok. Do you (OR ANYBODY ELSE) ever listen to Alan Beswick, I have not done for some time but last time I did he was speaking with People who had/have got issues with something that they had purchased? (Basically I'd would like to know if he still does the phone in )

I agree stowfelda, I have stopped listening to Evans now because he drives me mad! Like you, I like to be "eased" into the morning and I find him too brash, childish and loud. I hope he loses them millions of listeners and then perhaps they'll get rid of him!
