Why do people over buy

for a Bank holiday weekend , I went to the local Tesco and it was mayhem
the shops are only closed for one day , but the small shops are open ...
so why do people spend money and then dump a lot of it in the bin ?

They have lots of money to spend carelessly and also want to make use of their bins.

It's crazy unless they are entertaining, I've done no shopping at all for the weekend yet, I wlll only buy normal stuff. BOGOFs entice people to buy things they don't want. As long as I have bread and egss and cat food, the furries and I will be fine.

me too, i got a good local shop that i can get bits and bats from, there's nothing like supporting your local businesses

i went to asda about 1pm today - and couldn't find a parking space!
I thought they'd announced rationing and I was the last to hear!

Crazy really , as this is just an extra day on a weekend , i'm glad they
have the money to spend on things which will wasted . What happened to
the Credit Crunch ?

The way some people shop you would think food is going out of fashion! Trolleys piled high with bread,drinks groceries! Easter is just a normal weekend supermarkets open on Monday local shops always open! Easter Eggs available for weeks after for half price or less!

i don't really understand why noone can open on easter sunday anyway. If the supermarket's willing to open, and peeps are wanting to buy stuff.....where's the problem?
