giving up stuff for lent

i gave up cheese and crisps for lent. i have really missed the cheese, every day. i just realised that tomorrow, i can have cheese again. so on sunday i will be mainly eating.... cheese! not a day has gone by where i havent thought about cheese and how nice it would be in this, or on that. anyone else give anything up?

However the one thing which I doubt that I could ever give up would be cheese. I can't think of any meal I've eaten within the past few weeks which didn't include cheese. I eat cheese sandwiches, toasted cheese and ham sandwiches, chilli con carne (topped with lashings of cheese), pasta dishes (smothered in Parmesan), cheesecake, cottage pie (with a thick cheese topping). . . etc, etc. No cheese, no food!
