shes at that difficult age to young for adult stuff but would fall asleep if i took her to a kiddie place
Bath is only up the road, isn't it?
My great-niece is coming up for 10 and my sister took her to the new Cabot Circus shopping centre for a day out - she had a great time ferretting around in the shops (and only ended up being allowed to buy a couple of new things).

I only go to Bristol for the airport. Sorry but I can't make any useful suggestions. :-(
I've just had a thought. When I was young, I had a penpal from Fishponds (Staple Hill Road I think). It wasn't you, was it? ;-)
