new cars brout out in march 2010 have the number 10 on their reg plate, whats this going to change to in september 2010 when the new plates come out again

As lslowry indicates, registration numbers in the second half of each year are 50 ahead of those used in the first half of the year. Unless the rules of mathematics have changed since I used to teach the subject, 10+50=60.
