What's the law re drink drivers?

I lost my license a few months ago for drink driving, and my fiancee's a learner. Is it OK for me to sit next to her in the front passenger seat if there's another qualified driver in the car, or do I have to sit in the back?

The qualified supervising driver should sit in the front.
