i am afraid I do tend to get annoyed when I go to the trouble of answering peoples questions and they don't have the courtesy to post a reply and say thank you, There .are a lot of people who come on to C & P every day and they never ever acknowledge the replies you give them and you will never see those people come on to help others with a reply.

Exactly, I think it was me who prompted this thread, noble though it was from mamy, from making a comment in CB yesterday. I was a bit annoyed to give an answer to somene who posted 10 clues and although they got answers to all of them from several people, including mamy, they still haven't acknowledged anybody.
