Hi all my laptop is not running properly, I have been trying to burn a DVD from my camcorder (JVC EverioGZ-MG630AEK) something I have never done before. My laptop is an ACER Aspire 7520 and I have ACER deluxe arcade which supports DVD burning but it says no device is installed.I also have Cyberlink Power producer but when I run that and get so far I says that this is not responing. it also does this with NTI CD & DVD maker 7. Apart from that it also says the same about other programmes unconnected to my camcorder. Please help.

How are you actually trying to burn it? Exactly?
Devices have to be recognised by Windows (on laptop) first.
Check the Device Manager on the Laptop under CD/DVD drives to see what you actually have installed. Should have a DVD writer, surely?

Yes all in order on the device manager, there must be some reason for the not responding on other programmes.

as a matter of fact it has come up here "not responding in the answer bank"
then it is extremely busy doing something else. Not infected, is it?
Check all processes in Task Manager first, switch off System Restore and do a full AV scan.
