I want to see that peri - but British reviews are so-so - "Typical American heavy-on-the-schmaltz". kind.
I went to see Nanny McPhee II last night - not as good as the first I thought. Lil fell asleep after almost wetting herself laughing at the piglets' synchronised swimming. Mind you, the bottle of Pinot was mostly to account for that.

At the risk of offending our American Cousins........the write-ups seem to generally agree that it is a schmaltzy film set against a back-drop that is 'very' American and therefore hasn't travelled terribly well across this side of the pond. Although, the clamour Stateside has seen it hailed as 'reflecting the best of America' and the 'based on a true story' tagline has seen them at their dewey-eyed and flag-waving best.
