Oh my god I have an interview tomorrow for a head housekeeper. I am already nervous. What do I wear? I threw out my anne summers maids outfit lol. I am well trained in cleaning now having been off 8 weeks, having a new house and nothing to do.

4get you need to let them know you put great store by attention to detail and that you have experience of organising people to complete a task efficiently and to schedule. You must alsoi be aware of COSHH and other H & S issues and let them know you are consious o the tight budgets needed to run a successful cleaning operation,
you should wear a smart business suit for any interview, if you can turn yourself out spot on it gives the right impression, also research the room size of the hotel and ask the question about using the cleaning team for special occasions like weddings, that way they will grasp that you have an idea of the flexibility needed in the industry
It's exactly the same theory in retail , working to deadlines on next to no staffing budget with staff that ring in at 8.50 saying they're not strating at 9 when you had planned a busy work schedule, then you've to still get the job done to the saem deadline but work twice as hard yourself and still run the operation. bloody stressful i you aren't bang on with your costs and planning
