I have almost filled the grid and suspect that 4 of the unclued lights are fish.

The letters I have in place for the other 4 unclued lights do not seem
to conform to any pattern.

Can someone please tell me if all 8 are fish and how the extra words in some clues relate to fish (if they do)

We are told to highlight an 8 letter clue in the grid but there are only 3 clued 8 letter ones and none seem to
be a candidate..

I really am in a quandary and would be grateful for guidance.

All 8 unclued lights are fish, but the answers in the grid have one letter different ! Therefore the answers in the grid are not actually fish ! lol ;o)

I think I understand, but we are told to highlight a clued solution in the grid - where is that?

The 8 letters that have to be changed in the clues to get fish are anagrammed and will give you the 8 letter word, which is an 8 letter word clued separately. Hope that makes sense. ;o)
