What indoor plant is suitable
i would like a large plant / small tree for my front room as a feature for a bare corner.
Problem: Barely any sunlight enters my front room. What could i get that would be ok with these conditions.
For long enough i had a dragon tree that was thriving. It was about 7 years old, and massive. It just suddenly died.
Also ive had a coconut plant and they are all but impossible to keep alive!
Any suggestions

I saw on a tv programme someone making the good point that we British expect our houseplants to last far too long. In Holland for example they will buy a houseplant for just one year or even one or two seasons & then throw it out.
The thing is most plants are going to need a reasonable amount of light - those that woofgang suggests are the best for a dark room. You can get some amazing artificial plants these days although they can be expensive. Some lovely ones on here !!
