Not wanting to appear rude but I can never understand people who answer questions when they clearly do not know the right answer. All they do is confuse and stop people who do have the answer focusing on the unanswered questions.

You entitled this thread "Abbreviations". Therefore, that's what people would think you actually meant. Therefore, in e.g. a quiz about abbreviations (of which there are many), 13 MON would imply that question 13 is "MON", for which "Monaco" is a perfectly reasonable answer.

Not, it appears that you meant "Ditloids", not "Abbreviations". It is you who caused the confusion, not those who attempted an answer at your incorrect question...
