Im hungover and i feel rough, been working since 10:30 this morning and have to go back at 5:30! what are the best ways of getting rid of a hangover or helping to reduce the horrible feeling??? i've eaten tomatoes and some toast and drunk lots of water... what else is there?
Water ! But as cold as you can drink it, the colder it is the faster it rehydrates you...if you have time, fill a pint glass with ice cubes and sip this as it melts...a nurse told me this years ago and it works for me !
Hot spicy food, vitamins and soup before you your stomach can take "The big stuff" which would consist of mainly protein and little carbs as the more carbs (bread, past, rice etc...) you have the more water your body uses for digestion so up the protein with a salad full of liver cleansing veg (googles your friend here).
