I keep an empty wine bottle by the back door. It's my ashtray where I put my done with fags so they don't litter the drive.

Twice now its been nicked! Came home today (we left the house about 1pm) and someone has had it away! OK, so I am not bothered cos when it was full it was just going in the wheelie bin, but can you believe it?!

It was a long drive to Peterborough but at least I can say that I've now got something in my possession which has been in the hands of the woman I love ;-)

2 teenage girls came in the store today, helped themselves to 2 bottles of diet coke, 2 bags of crisps and 2 packs of mints and just walked out the front doors, i followed them out and asked if they would like to come back in and try out new payment option and they just dropped the stuff and sauntered off, yes, saunterred off, didn;t run at all, and they just glared at me, apparently they are banned from the retail park already and shouldn't have been anywhere near the place! The site security said there was no point ringing the police as they wouldn't do anything about it.

The good thing that happened today though was that we saw a red kite over the lake in front of the house. Let the theiving buggers take that!

It works to our advtantage sometimes. If you have bits of furniture you don't want any more, you just leave it outside. Come the morning, it'll be gone!
