Use of maglites in CSI (Vegas)

I LOVE this programme, but one thing puzzles me.

When the CSIs go to a crime scene at night (or they enter somewhere dark), they never turn a light on - instead, they use their maglites.

When they go to a crime scene in daylight, they STILL use their maglites!

WHY?

And yes, I know it's "only make believe"! :o)

BRILLIANT articles - thanks.

I've also just thought about how dark the CSIs offices are in CSI Vegas - MAD!

I still LOVE it, though...................despite Jorja Fox's annoying nasal twang!!
Don't you know anything? It looks COOL! ;o).

LeMarchand - that page opens as a BIG white square with nothing else visible! :o(
Hmmm... looks OK on mine. Should be a white page with a thin strip down the left hand edge that you have to (appropriately enough) zoom in on. Try this - same image, same instructions: http://img.moronail.net/img/1/0/2010.jpg

Yup, that link now brings up a strip of "thumbnails" down the LH side, but I can't do anything with the images.

Not to worry, though.

Cheers!
