Keep finding cat poos dotted around the house.
11 Answers
I have two cats a female who's 6 and a male who's just turning 1. I keep finding little cat turds around the house, like this morning, there was one on the settee. Last week there was one on my bedroom carpet etc. This has only started happening in the last month to six weeks. They always have access to a litter tray while there are inside and can go outside whenever they want. I don't know what the cause could be, both my cats seem content and nothing has changed, please help!

Hopefully he will grow out of this, but in the mean time, make plenty of fuss of him, to make him feel secure.
Do they have separate feeding bowls? It may be an idea to feed them separately for a time, to let him know he has his own domain - toms are sensitive about this aspect of territory, and it can make them 'mark' to reassure themselves.
Try and make sure that each cat has peace and time to feed alone, they will soon get used to new times, and this will settle both of them.
Good luck!

Sorry I can see them now, andy, i make plenty of fuss about my male cat (junior), but i'm not quite sure it's him anyway. Yes they do have seperate feeding bowls, one in the kitchen and one in the sitting room, i don'y know if that makes a difference to your answer.
Karen yes the older one is a longhair but as I said this has never happened before. I can't pinpoint which one it is. I know they both the litter tray as i've seen the both using it, plus i always see them scrathing around in the garden.
I suppose all i can do is wait and hope whoever it is gets over it.
Thanks.

My ex's boss was a bit of a techno freak and he had 2 dogs - one of which was fouling the hallway during the night. So he rigged up a wireless camera to catch which one was doing it and he tuned in the bedroom tv so they could keep an eye on them. Him and his wife got into the habit of putting on a wee 'show' for one another whenever they were passing the camera and they found it all very funny - till a neighbour stopped him in the street to ask why he'd seen the guy flashing on his tv the night before ;)
Ha, wish I could afford cameras for all the rooms, maybe once i've paid the mortgage.
Anyway boxtops, no my boy hasn't been done, I will get him done but i feel mean chopping off his grapes. Plus sorry is I seem rude to you in another post, i'm just cheesed at the mo.
I think it is my girl cat now anyway, because, my boy cat stayed out all night but the girl was in and I found one on my bedroom carpet in the morning.
