thought i d already posted this queation but i cant find any sign of it . must have pressed a wrong button. no. 60. an anagram of 2,3,4th words (5,3,5) also no. 97 baggy, dishevelled, but in the pink, collecting the bread. bread as in money? (5,4) any help please.
May I tap into your thread and ask for help? Number 6 - Blackbirds can be seen in woods (5) and 21 - It's a mile out to the new links from the furnaces (9). Thanks.
factor - did you even read Heather's question? She knew it was an anagram of those words and then last night someone gave her the answer. Then you come on this morning and tell her it's an anagram of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th words. Wake up!!
quizbag - No.6 - black is represented by the letter 'b'. The woods referred to are equipment used in a sport.
Thanks foxlee2. Yes I read foxlee's question.
What went wrong is I pressed a tab key and my post submitted before I'd finished. I then sent in my full answer under her other thread: http://www.theanswerb...e/Question884240.html
As you can see, i have seen the answer as Osama Bin Laden but Iw as asking how this is arrived at- Iknow it's an anagram but I'm asking what is it an anagram of- the 2nd , 3rd and 4th words of what?
factor - this is a question from the latest Rainbow Quiz - All Containers Great and Small. The question is Nasty Badman - so alien his whereabouts are unknown. And obviously BIN provides the necessary container.
Thanks, foxlee2. Twice I'd seen the question but on neither occasion had the poster included the words that we had to anagramise (I've just made up a new word!). Many AB readers like helping answer puzzles/crosswords etc but don't always have a copy in front of us
interestingly, this is the first time I have seen answers to the current rainbow quiz.
Up till now, there have just been clues, which is, I think, much better.
No one minds helping, it just feels wrong to have the answers spelled out.
