There is a wooden fence which runs up the side of my garage, and it belongs to the people on the other side of it.
They grow, (mile a minute shrub) which is rampant. It hangs heavily on my side by about 5 or 6 feet at times. I keep pushing what I can back over, but they keep pushing it back again. I am almost 70 and disabled and cannot cope with it so out of control.
I have just spoken to them and asked for them not to do this, and was met by indifference, and I was told that it was their fence, and if they wanted to grow stuff on it, that was that.

Has anyone any idea what I could do next please.

You are within your rights to cut all overhanging shrubs, but you must give the cuttings back to the neighbour.
moon shadow is spot on. you can trim back to the fence on your side all that hangs over. You must offer them the cuttings back. This sounds like a big job for you , is there someone who can help you. Good luck.
