Good morning ABers.
I have a problem on my Photoshop elements 7 software and can't seem to find any info about it on PSE 'help'. If anyone has this software I would be grateful for advice.
The brushes and selection tools suddenly revert to 'crosshairs' and I can't actually see the size of the brush onscreen. This means that it's pure guesswork when cloning or painting on a photo. It's extremely frustrating and the only way I can rectify it is to do a computer reboot-and even that doesn't work sometimes!
Any ideas please? And, has anyone got PSE 8? If so, is it any good or does't it differ much from PSE 7?

So, not so much a 'dawndevil' as a 'dawnangel' LOL. Thank you so much-there must have been something I was doing to make it happen but now I know how to sort it. Thanks for a brilliant and helpful answer!!
