HD and Sky.............
8 Answers
In my local supermarket, there is a display stand trying to get people to sign up to Sky, which includes HDTV, broadband and telephone. There is a demo screen showing football on a split screen, half of which is normal tv, the other half is supposed to be HD. It also shows the film Zulu in split screen. I asked the sales rep why there wasn't a demo of live HDTV, so we could all see it in real time and not on Blue Ray, which they use for the demo. He said it wasn't practical, which is why they use a disc. The reason I asked is because someone I know has HDTV and it doesn't look much different to me. Have you got HDTV? Is it as good for you as they make out? From what I've seen of it, I'm not vonvinced. What do you think?

Half the time I forget we can get certain channels in HD and it's not till the end of the prog that I remember and think "dammit could've watched that in HD!!" (like I did with corrie last night!)
