All my nails have broken, and I would like them nice and long-ish again. What is the kindest nail extension that I could have ? I don't want the one where the file the top of the nail almost down to the skin, that makes my teeth go funny.

Bio-nails are the most healthy I hear... U can extend with them .... Xxx
If your nails have been top filed then they are damaged and will flake. You should leave the damage uncovered to grow out and only file the nail edge with a metal nail-file. Thus, they will strengthen in approx 6w.

Nails are very dry as well, what can I put on them ?
I have always found that waiting and not cutting works really well.

I have very, very strong nails. Women have told me thay are jealous of my fingernails which grow effortlessly to any length without breaking. But you would not want the toeanails that come with the package.

Accept what nature has given you and be grateful.
put a small amount of olive oil in a bowl and then sit that bowl in another bowl of warm water to heat it a bit then massage a small amount of oil into your nails/cuticles. Do as often as you can and your nails will grow stronger.

Thanks joanie. My nails grew very long a couple of months ago with no breakages, and I thought it might be due to the fact that I eat lots of almonds, now they have all broken low down, I'm not so sure.
it took my real nails about 5 months to recover from falsies. they went like paper, i was terrified they were gonna rip down to my cuticle if i caught them on something. thankfully they didnt.
I stopped wearing the gel ones as they ruined my real nails.

My nails have always grown but always ended up splitting off, however, since I got diagnosed with malabsorbtion and been on treatment, the righting of my vitamin and mineral balances has made an amazing difference and my nails have never been in such good condition.

So, might be worth making sure you are getting all your proper nutrients.

I also find a decent regular manicure with treatments also helps keep my nails growing and in good condition, like how having my hair trimmed regularly keeps it growing better in in better condition I guess.
