Mothers WIth Beautiful Daughters!

I have two sons but if you have girls are you jealous of their looks,maybe they are a reflection of you in your youth?

I used to think eldest Mini Boo looked nowt like me, she's a 6 foot blonde, however now she's pregnant and BIGGG, her dad told her she now looks like me!

I'm not sure whether to be insulted or not....

I think a daughter must remind you of what you used to look like, when you were skinny and unworried.... I found some photos of me in 1983 the other day, skinny cow.

No, Eldest Mini Boo has never looked like me, as i saids she's a 6 foot skinny blonde and im a dark haired midget :-(

Think her dad was having a dig at me by saying now she's big, as apart from baby bump she's obviously put weight on everywhere else too.

I've never been jealous of her looks though.- especially not now ;-)

When I see my daughter and her best pal (who is my best pal's daughter) they remind me an awful lot of us at that age, but that's more personality than looks. It makes me nostalgic, but never jealous.

my mum told me she was jealous of me a few years ago funny thing is i think i new it
as soon as i got a figure she was off key with me she used to pick holes in the littlest things it was never you look nice it was always my faults but i know my mum is only human and she had a hard time growing up so was hard to watch me grow into a women she missed out on a lot and its only natural to feel jealous but i do wish she could have dealt with it a little different

never!!! i know all mums say it my youngest is only 13 so is still growing i think shes beautiful
my eldest is stunning does part time modeling and works in a creche with kids i am really proud of her never ever jelous

Well, we have 4 children (the eldest of whom is now 59!)
2 sons and 2 daughters.
The boys both look like their Mother (lucky them) and the girls both look like me(poor girls!)LOL

My daughter's a beauty. Friends of mine have commented on her photos on Facebook saying how pretty she is. I am not jealous - just extremely proud and very surprised that someone like me could have produced such a stunner!

Yes Lard i am also proud of my daughter, my son too is a handson guy, they both are half Greek thats prob why they are both lovely looking kids.

I have two beautiful daughters, I have never been jealous of their looks, but maybe at times their freedoms. I grew out of that though, they are both jealous of my lovely legs and lack of cellulite LOL

When I was a teenager in the sixties, I know my mum often used to envy us the freedoms we had, the the fun clothes, the colours, the pop music.... she said there was nothing like that when she was growing up in the twenties (although I do believe she was a flapper in her time, but she's no longer here to ask!).
