They are so so so so so soon and I'm stressing! I did well in most of my prelims except Business Management, Chemistry and Home Economics. Was 'trying' to revise this morning and I literally picked up a Business book and read the first few pages, tried 3 questions and gave up. It's SO boring! I'm screwed basically!
Oh god.

The science is complicated. I do extra which means i get a gcse in each science, but msot people got a gcse in year 10 and another this year. but they dod four exams each year for it and i do three of the four each year, plus another three this year, so 9 in total.

Yeah, well I live in Scotland so we call them Standard Grades, but yeah they are GCSE's.
I have...
Maths, French, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Business Management and Home Economics. For French I do Listening, Reading & Writing, for Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Geography I have 2 papers to do and for Home Economics I have 2 papers and also a practical.

Ohh right. It's interesting to see how it varies in England compared to Scotland - I always get so confused!
When we get to high school, for the first two years it's sort of an introduction to the subjects you can do later on and you have no exams. Then, in third year, we choose 5 subjects that we want to do and then English, Maths and French are compulsary. We have to sit our GCSE English that year because everyone starts it in 2nd year and it is a two year course so we sit the exam in third year. In fourth year we have our exams for everything else we chose and the other compulsary subjects. Then in fifth year we only choose 4 subjects and English is compulsary. We sit all these exams in 5th year. Then in 6th year we do 3 or 4 subjects.. it depends.. and sit those exams and then we go to uni or whatever!
