Hmmm, is that legal chambers, or a hint to go away & use the dictionary!
Ramilahs I am complete in the top half, and in the SW quarter I have 24d, 26d, 23a, 27a, 29a if you want a hint or two. But still need 18d, 19a, & 20d myself - will give it a few more days before I cry for help! Don't want to incur the wrath of the purists!

It seems we are stuck on exactly the same words except you have one more ie 29a -- is that shandy ? is it a slang for drunkard?

Going back to your original query, I meant Chambers Dictionary though you would have probably got the answer from the legal chambers too. I find Chambers (Dic) quite useful for some situations as Internet aids dont quite work sometimes.

My daughter in the Bahamas is also having a go. I am sure one of us should be able to crack the last three or four

I have it done now apart from 19 across T_E_E_ _
and 20 down ??I?S
I think I know what 20 down is, but stumped on 19 across
I think 20 down began with G, and 19 acr probably ends in S, making the final letter M?
So resulting 19 across would be T?E?E?M - what do you think?
