holiday homes in the Cotswolds area
6 Answers
Can anyone help me. Myself and my sisters are interested in travelling to the Cotswolds or maybe devon for the summer and we would like to rent 3 self catering cottages. There are two families of 4, and a family of five. We would like to stay in the same complex but I am finding it very hard to find anywhere, also they have to take pets!. Normally we travel in Ireland and as I live there it is easy to source accomodation however it is proving a real problem in England. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful

These cottages(below) belong to The National Trust, and are in a row(with the farmhouse at the end) opposite Snowshill Manor(NT).We have stayed in Distons Cottage now for many years, and Snowshill is a wonderful quiet Cotswold village, but not far from many attractions.Although (apart from the farmhouse) the cottages sleep mainly two people, maybe your family could mix~n~match,or some could take the farmhouse(which sleeps9).If you click the dog symbol(top right on each page) you will see that these cottages Do take dogs!
However they do book up quickly,so I wouldn't hang about if you do want to go there.

PS:~
In the last phot the road in front IS the road through the village, but as this road goes absolutely nowhere it is very quiet.
The car park for Manor is now just before you get to the village so visitors to it will not really make any diference to the cottages.
It you look at bottom of the cottage pages, you will see that parking is in a NT(Staff) Car Park opposite,so you won't have to compete with visitors for a car space!LOL

Sorry,
This is positively the last answer!LOL
This is the local pub in Snowshill, about 20 feet from the farmhouse.
Warning:~
They do locally brewed ales which are quite lethal, but you won't have far to stagger back to your cottage!
