How to make Tulips look real!!!!!!

Morning all
Iv just bought a posey of VERY real looking tulips, they are sat looking lovely in a glass vase, my question is can i buy something that looks like water as you are in no doubt that they are false when you notice that the vase does not contain water. Any suggestions, do florists do something like gel.

or have an opaque vase that they can't see into.

Model shops do a resin that looks like water bit fiddly to use but would do what you need or use some of the plastic'ice' or pebbles to canouflage the stems
