I know little girls like to mess about with mums makeup, but to let them wear it outside school i find that scary!

Playing with makeup is fine. I think we ruined more of my mums make up than anything. But tarting them up to go out is another thing. Mind you, I can't talk, I have just got into MASSIVE trouble for painting my 12 y/o step daughter's toe nails when I did mine. Not like anyone is going to see them outside the house because she insists on wearing socks!!!!

By mum! I only did it to try and cheer her up because she was having a massive mardy. But now I'm bad bad bad. I am the devil incarnate who should burn in hell. I have no doubt at the next court hearing, my shocking behaviour will be raised.

I do see mum's point to an extent. But there is a load of difference between tarting up a 6 year old and painting a 12 year olds toe nail's. I tend to agree that make up on a child is wrong on anything other than the stage. The only thing she ordinarily wears is a little lip gloss.
