Saving a pdf document

Hope you can help in simple terms please.

I'm trying to view a pdf document & a pop-up window states;
File Download

Do you want to open or save this file?

OPEN SAVE CANCEL

If I click on open, it looks as though something is trying to open, but doesn't & goes back to the same pop-up window...over & over again.

How can I view this please?

Yes, I'm pretty sure adobe is installed.

Try the Save option, then try opening it from where you have saved it. If that fails, right click and choose the Open Using option, it might lead you to a prog that will allow you to open it.

have you searched your taskbar

Double check you have Adobe or something suitable installed. Also, do you have any pop-up blockers installed and do you have Javascript enabled?
