Done everything step by step for avatar but still keeps telling me avatar not active.Read all your replies but still nothing.What more can I do thanks as not got much hair left. Thanks.

It was like that for me as well askgran. Then I just went to a thread I was on (like this one) and did ctrl F5 and my avatar changed. give it a try on this thread

I've done it thank you Mazie I've must pressed ctrl f5 a hundred times. Now I've got to confess I don't think this pic is very flattering, It is NOT me, and I think perhaps I'm going to change it before long. What do you say Lard?

no, not same person, that photo was one from windows system which i used to test before using my own pic :)
