Running XP. I seem to pick up all sorts of 'pictures' that have come from web sites I have visited, (e-bay ,screwfix, ikea etc.) in 'My Pictures'. These appear when I scroll past the ends of photos's in files. eg, I scroll past pictures of my granddaughter then get the 'buy it now ' logo from e-bay, a chain saw from the screwfix site etc. Why is this ? and how do I stop it happening? Words of one syllable please, . Tia, Gary

Never heard of this before but it appears some adware may have installed on your PC - install spybot ,malwarebytes anti malware and a squared - these should find the culprits which should be deleted or quarantined

Thanks for reply, have run malwarebytes and have avast5 , which block most things, this is not something new, I had the same thing on my previous PC. Was told it was something to do with double clicking on images ???, (saved to a program, I know not what) Must have some practical use and is being 'stored' in wrong file. ??? any more thoughts out there please ?
