Cheap cosmetics

What do you think of using cheap cosmetics such as Collection 2000, Rimmel and the like?

they are as good as the  more expensive makes ,who can tell if you paid �2 for a mascara or �22 ,only you and your purse will know the difference

I have tried just about every make and have concluded you get what you pay for, the expensive makes being far better quality, longer lasting a more natural finish.

I agree with yobeck.  I used to purchase the cheap lipsticks, but now buy the more expensive lipsticks as they last longer and look better.

I'd do some research though before you go off and buy the most expensive cosmetics.

Lastly, its all about personall opinion and what you feel more confortable with. x

I think you get what you pay for up to a point.  I'm 100% sure that I can tell the difference between foundations, mascaras and eyeliners depending on what I pay for them.  However this doesn't apply in all cases - eyeshadows in particular don't seem to be significantly better for the extra money.  I think the only way to establish is by trial and error.  I've tried a few C2K things and found them to be pretty poor quality, but I do buy Rimmel sometimes.
