Hi dev.

Go to http://en.gravatar.com/site/signup/ and put in the same e-mail address that you gave The Answerbank and then click signup. When you get the e-mail comfirmation click on the link they provide and put in a username and a password.

Then, click on add a new image (You can add one from your hard drive, from the internet, a webcam or one you've previously uploaded). If you choose a picture from the internet you need the full web address, like this:

http://kiw.imgag.com/.../full/eu/3127478f.jpg

and post it into the box and click "next"

Then you can crop the picture to fit and then click "crop and finish." If it's your first picture then it goes straight onto your profile on Gravatar, next to your e-mail address. Then, come back to AB and click on "my profile" and then "edit user details." At the top of your details there should be a tick box to activate your avatar. Tick it and click "submit."

If all goes well you should have your avatar.
