BT Voyager 205 won't install

I tried to install this Router, but when I loaded the software CD it only got to 30% and when I clicked on "Next" to begin installing it, nothing happened. Going straight back to BT with it, what a useless pile of c**p! Anyone else had problems with this Router???

I've got one and it works fine, BUT I'm not using the USB connection. If you have the opportunity to use the ethernet connection, then this does not need any drivers installed.

If you are using the USB connection, did you connect the router to your PC before installing the software from the CD? This may cause the router to not install properly. You will then need to uninstall it fully before you can do it again properly, but I think you'll need to call the helpline 'cos I'm unsure how to do this, sorry.

Thanks for that Ralph. I never even got as far as installing it, it just froze at 30% just at the point where the installation was about to start! I did make sure that the Router wasn't connected before I loaded the CD though. I agree with you about the Ethernet connection which is why I'm now sending it back and I'm going to buy the Voyager 240 instead which has 4 Ethernet connections and no software to load!
