That Friday feeling-bleh

I remember when fridays where all about finishing work for the week,going out at night,lazy shopping saturdays and lots of drinking.
Now though,its get kids uniforms washed,cook tea,who woo excitment and hire a DVD if we are lucky then all the usual washing dished,put stuff away and look forward to a saturday of arguing kids and maybe the supermarket.
Wish I had enjoyed it more when I was doing the fun version.Don't you?

lol know that feeling ayabrea!, I will be up at 5 am as usual so I dont even get the lie in as well as all the stuff you listed above that will be happening on saturday, I will be a husk of my former self by sunday but will still have to go and visit family regardless!

The other week I actually wanted a hangover.I thought it would at least mean I had had fun the night before,ha,fell asleep infront of a rubbish film after 1/2 bottle white wine

When you have kids you do lose alot of youself, tis true. I've forgotten how to have a night out, on the rare occasions I do I get really nervous about going out.

Thanks all,my spirits where lifted.....till I went to empty the washing machine thinking,yay,ahead of myself here....only to find I forgot to switch the thing on.Oh help,I think I need that choc bar!

Munch munch.OK thanks,washing machine in deffo on now.Just hope there are no white socks in there.OH did cheese on toast as a snack for the grown ups(aww bless)kids fed and dishes done.Washing put away.Oh my,life in the fast lane with Aya!

Later....I find myself scrubbing the carpet to get off paint splats from recent decorating madness.Washing done-no rouge socks-kids now asleep-OH watching DVD which I have lost interest in and I am trying to type quietly so I dont disturb.

Wish I could say it gets better aya, but just as the kids are old enough, you have a brief reinvention of your youth, nightclubs etc, then suddenly start craving little local pubs where you can hear youself think and have a nice chat! or maybe thats just me!

Cricky,its when I think of what I have become...even my Mother would of drawn the line at carpet scrubbing!(at that time of night)
At least the end is in sight with decorating the hall,just bits and bobs now,and obviously cleaning the paint splats.
Honestly it is sending me mad.....
still Saturday paining the front door to look foward to.....(help)

I have so lost who I am for one reason or another.Who I am on the inside is soooooo different to who I am on th outer.
Lets just say disability sucks and plays with your head now and again

I am just coming to terms with it I suppose.
I have a neuro problem that means I cannot feel properly in my hands and feet.
My feet are much worse at the mo,Imagine someone trying to pull your toes off by twisting a hot poker up the nail and you are there.
Pain is all or 500% more.
Welcome to my life.
